English translation:
"In a neighboring shed, Mr. Baldwin from San Francisco had set up his workshop. The framework of his balloon/dirigable's gondola is made of wooden rods with triangular cross-section. The Whitehead Motor from Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A., has already been installed and work is now being performed on the air-screw which will be attached to the end of the long drive shaft. Next to it - also from San Francisco - is his balloon, still in its packing crate."
