My brother was born on the 1st of January 1874 at Leutershausen, near Ansbach, the capital of Middle Franconia, Bavaria. Our father being a carpenter, then a Bridge-Engineer, then before he died, a Millright., died Feb. 1887 and our mother Okt. 1886.
